This diabetic friendly spinach smoothie recipe  made with spinach , avocado , almond butter unsweetened almond milk and unsweetened soy yogurt is a wonderful, healthy way to enjoy something sweet without a huge blood sugar spike  . Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1/2 avocado pitted
  • 2 tablespoons Almond butter or natural Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 cup plain Soy Yogurt or Vegan Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup ice

Instructions
 

  • Blend all ingredients until smooth and enjoy! If the smoothie is too thick, you can add a little more liquid milk or water. Blend again until everything is well combined. Have a wonderful day and stay healthy!
