This vegan high protein peanut butter chocolate smoothie recipe made with cacao powder , peanut butter , banana , unsweetened soy milk and vanilla extract is a wonderful, healthy way to help your body to boost his own energy level and protein intake with about 24.5 grams of protein per serving . - 2 Tbsp Natural Peanut Butter about 32 g , add a dash of salt
- 1 Tbsp Cacao Powder about 20g
- 1 large ripe Banana frozen about ~136 g
- 1 cup Unsweetened Soy Milk about 227ml
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract optional
- 1/2 cup ice
In a blender, combine all ingredients except the unsweetened soy milk. Add 1/2 cup unsweetened soy milk at a time, barely enough to let the ingredients to mix together. Add more if you want a thinner shake, and less if you want a thicker shake.
Adjust the flavors to taste, adding extra banana or vanilla sweetness, cacao for chocolate flavor, and peanut butter for saltiness. Add a handful of ice for added thickness if desired.
1 generous serving . Fresh is best, but leftovers can be kept in the fridge covered for up to 24 hours. This could even be frozen into popsicles!
